As I celebrate my first year as Rector of Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, I consider it a real privilege to accompany our students in their formation journey. Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary is an incredible blessing for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and beyond. The openness and dedication of our seminarians and students to discern God’s call and serve His Church is truly an inspiration. I look forward to seeing all the incredible work our students will do for our parishes and communities. Their aspiration to become devoted stewards of our Faith gives our Catholic community so much to cherish.
As the seminary continues forward with its relocation to the new campus in Lower Gwynedd, it’s important to remember that the seminary isn’t just a physical location comprised of brick and stone. The people – priests, faculty, staff, seminarians, and students are united in a common mission and vision to prepare the next generation of holy, faithful, courageous, and compassionate leaders of our Church.
Through a well-integrated approach to formation – developing the human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral dimensions of the person, the seminary continues to be an important and impactful presence, not only in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia but throughout our country. The countless clergy and laity graduates have continued our Lord’s saving mission to go out into the world and proclaim the Good News!
The seminary community remains For today. For tomorrow. For all of us. I ask that you prayerfully consider making a gift to this year’s Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary Appeal. We need your help! Your constant passion for our seminarians and students and your selfless generosity are truly what sustains us. Together we go forward in investing in the future of our Church. Please take some time to read through the following pages of featured testimonies. Our future priests, deacons, and lay leaders share their inspirational stories to showcase the impact of your generosity. You, the Faithful, make our mission possible here at the seminary.
Thank you for your extraordinary support. Please know that your donation makes a profound impact. We will remember you and your loved ones in our daily Masses and prayers. May God bless you.
Sincerely in Christ,
Reverend Keith Chylinski,
